Friday, April 21st was AISG’s Talent Show night. It is an event that gives students the chance to show off their passions and interesting talents to the rest of the school.

Students in the talent show had to work hard to perfect their performances during multiple rehearsals to be ready for showtime. Anyone who wished to watch could buy tickets and many students showed up to show support.

“The talent show is a great event for students to show off their talents and what they are proud of,” Arielle L. said.

Arielle is a sophomore who performed a dance routine to the song “River” by Bishop Briggs.

“I decided to join the talent show because I was proud of myself and how much I have grown through dance,” she said.

Performing in front of so many people is scary, but she thought it was a fun experience and might join in again next year.

Carson A. a junior at AISG, performed a few of his songs with his friends Devon B., and Josh J. who was there as a hype man for the duo.

Carson joined the show because he thought signing up and showing off his music skills would be a fun experience.

“Talent shows are a good school event because they give people a chance to just show off what they’re good at,” he said.

Carson had a lot of fun and would be completely open to doing it again next year. Because “how else would people get to see Devon and I’s mastery mic skills?”

A lot of students came to watch the talent show and were excited to see their friends perform.

“I went because some of my friends were in the show and everyone was going,” one student said, “The talent show is good at bringing people together. I had a lot of fun.”

The talent show was a successful and fun event that showed off all the talent at AISG, and we are excited to see what talents will be showcased next year.
