The Mysterious Death of a Korean Celebrity

On October 30 2017, almost exactly one year ago, Korean citizens and the world were given unfortunate news about the death of a famous Korean celebrity, Kim Joo Hyuk (故김주혁). A mysterious car accident had led to Kim’s death at around 4:30pm (local time) in South Korea, Seoul Gangnam-gu. According to the blackbox camera behind Kim’s car, he slightly collided with a Grandeur car beside him, suddenly charged into the sidewalk near an apartment, and crashed down to the stairs. From there, his car caught fire and this resulted in his death. Kim was rescued without breathing and his pulse was not found thus, he was was sent to the hospital after the cardiopulmonary resuscitation was carried out. However, sadly, God decided to take him away from us and he passed away around 6:30 pm (local time). According to the Grandeur car driver’s perspective, he said that Kim was holding his chest painfully after the first collision.

This all happened last year, and several speculated that his death was either due to alcohol or drugs, skull fracture, cardiac disorder, or mechanical malfunctions in his car. However, all these predictions were proved to be incorrect. There weren’t any alcohol or drug components verified by Kim, and without coronary artery injury or pulse disorders, it is impossible to find any cardiac infarctions. It was also found that there wasn’t any vestige for brake incapacity inductions as well, as it was challenging for experts to investigate the car due to the severe damage. Although a year has passed from this tragic accident, Kim’s death is still mired in mystery.
