The Exposing of Trump

President Trump’s manner of speaking is sometimes very controversial, causing some very awkward and offensive moments. On January 14th, Trump made comments about several nations, including African ones, that were disrespectful. These comments received high amounts of backlash from the countries targeted by these insults, and even by senators of the president’s own country. Ohio Governor John Kasich said that “America was built on the backs of immigrants from around the globe. We must honor that history, not reject it.It starts with respectful rhetoric and signing bipartisan DACA legislation.”

Senator Tim Scott, the only Republican African-American senator, said the President’s comments are “disappointing.”

“If these comments are accurate, they are disappointing,” Oklahoma Republican Lankford said. “I would not talk about nations like this because I believe the people of those countries are made in the image of God and have worth and human dignity.”

In the 60th Grammy awards, rapper Logic addressed Trump’s comments by giving a speech after his performance. He said, “To all the beautiful countries filled with culture, diversity and thousands of years of history, you are not s***holes.”

President Trump is now denying that he ever described developing nations as “shithole countries.” But he is acknowledging that he did use “tough” language in the context of the debate over whether to take in people from said shitholes and in so doing, he is only confirming that the mask has now been torn off for good.

This wasn’t the only time Trump swore in public, lots of his tweets contain the b-word, and in 2006 he said his notorious sexist comment: “grab them by the p***y”. Trump also called kneeling football athletes the b-word.

Ironically, Trump previously said at a rally that he would never use vulgarity. We guess he told another lie there. Speaking of lying, a half-satire documentary showed on Jimmy Kimmel Live indicated that Trump has already lied 2000 times in his first year in office so far. Take a look at this funny video yourself.

What also puts Trump in the spotlight is a new book by Michael Wolf, Fire and Fury, Inside the Trump White House. The 300-page biography exposes the arguments within the White House and includes rants on Trump’s presidential campaign. The book immediately became a bestseller on Amazon and Apple Books. The White House reacted violently, with Trump calling it a “work of fiction.” As an effort to cover his pathetic actions, Trump’s lawyers sued the publishing company to stop the publications of the book. Fortunately, their plan failed. Within a week, more than a million copies were sold.

In conclusion, it is going to be a hard term for Donald Trump. It’s only been a year, and he has got himself into massive chaos already. It would be difficult to imagine a peaceful America under Trump.
