Upcoming Concerts in the Region!

There are always concerts coming around the Guangzhou – Shenzhen – Hong Kong area and so here’s a quick update on some recent concerts and some that are coming soon.

John Legend 

Last Saturday, on the 10th of March, John Legend performed at the AsiaWorld-Expo. He is touring the world for his new album Darkness and Light. This has been a highly anticipated tour for fans around the world. His wife, Chrissy Teigen, and his daughter, Luna Stephens.

His latest album has been a worldwide hit with songs like “Love Me Now” and “Penthouse Floor.” Ms. Higley actually had the opportunity to go to this concert!

The Chainsmokers

The Chainsmokers will be coming to Hong Kong on Tuesday, the 27th of March at the AsiaWorld-Expo with their tour for their new album Memories…Do Not Open. They are an extremely famous duo which mainly focuses on Pop, Dance, and EDM music. Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall are famous for hits like “Closer,” “Something Just Like This”, and “Wake Up Alone.” This concert is really close, so you’ll probably only get tickets if you’re lucky.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry will be having a concert in Hong Kong at the AsiaWorld-Expo as well! This will be happening on the 30th of March or next Friday! This will be her first-time performing in Hong Kong and the start of her performances in Asia for her Witness tour. Her tour has already gotten amazing reviews from the North American leg.

Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy will be in Shenzhen for their Mania World Tour on Friday, the 5th of April. Their new album features hits like “HOLD ME TIGHT OR DON’T,” “Wilson (Expensive Mistakes),” and “Young and Menace.” The tickets are still in pre-order so if you want to go, now would be the time to order.

The Script

The Script will be in Hong Kong on the 24th of April – more than a month away. They will be performing their new album Freedom Child. This is The Script’s first visit back to Hong Kong since 2011.

Bruno Mars

The famous Bruno Mars will be in our region performing songs from his new album 24K Magic. There will be 2 performances in Hong Kong and 2 performances in Macao; but, unfortunately, unless you can find a ticket reseller, you won’t be able to attend as the concert has already sold out.

Dua Lipa

This talented 22-year old will be in Hong Kong on the 1st of May, which is Labour Day and an off-day for the school making this concert even more possible to make. But, I’m sorry again, because her concert is already sold out.

Harry Styles

The former One Direction member Harry Styles will be performing in Hong Kong on Saturday, 5th May. He actually added 56 more shows to his Harry Styles Live on Tour – World Tour which quickly sold out. If you would like to see this famous singer, click here to buy tickets.
