UPDATE: C4C Showcase CANCELLED

Conect4Cancer’s first showcase was planned for March 9, 2018. However, due to the lack of people joining, and the lack of people buying tickets, the showcase was canceled 3 days before it was meant to take place. There were some people who didn’t even know the showcase was a real thing. This came as a surprise to many (especially those in Connect4Cancer) because The Showcase was going to be a whole-school event, and prices for students were 25 RMB, and 50 RMB for adults.

However, the members in Connect4Cancer believe that the reason for The Showcase’s cancellation was due to a few reasons. The main reason was the confusion of the showcase and STUCO’s talent show since the timings were so close to each other. Hopefully, next year Connect4Cancer will have another showcase. And considering all these variables that caused its cancellation, it will be more successful.
