April Break was a great time away from school for us to chill and take a week-long mental break. However, not everyone enjoyed April Break as much as others. Here is a list of short summaries consisting of things people did:
I was lucky and had a really great April Break in Bali, Indonesia. I went to all the touristy places and it was really relaxing.
A handful of sophomores studied for their SAT during this break, which was the main thing that they did not enjoy. Some of these people include Candy L, Adam X, Cathy Z, Sam J and Arete S (there are more). This was not a fun time during their break.
Elly A traveled to London and went to Oxford. She visited many museums, Charles Dickens’ house and ate lots of good food. She thought it was “really fun and a nice getaway from Guangzhou” and was there the whole break. She even left school early to enjoy herself.
Antonette L went to Japan over the break and thought that it was really fun, saying, “the food was really good”.
Anna K kept it simple and went to Hong Kong to shop and had a great time “in Disney Land” and was there for the whole day. However, she had the spring flu and “died because [she] was so sick”.
Chantal G had a great time in Bangkok, Thailand for five days and did “a lot of shopping and watched a couple of movies”.
Isabella M flew to Vietnam and went to the beach to relax, but she was sick the whole time. It was not a fun time for her.
There were a lot of different activities people did over the break, some good, some bad. But overall, these people had an eventful break and came back to school with a few things to say about it.
