irlineratings.com, “The world’s best one-stop airline safety and product rating review website” has just announced the 2016 Airline Excellence Awards, with at least 12 mentions, including:
Qantas, Cathay Pacific Airways, Etihad Airways, Singapore Airlines, Virgin Australia, Kulula.com, Lufthansa, Delta Air Lines, Norwegian, Scoot, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin America.
So what’s the best Airline? For “its continuous passenger innovations, environmental commitment, record-breaking financial performance, operational safety and motivation of its staff that have cemented the airline an industry trendsetter”, Air New Zealand was named 2016 Airline of the Year.

What about best Low Cost Airlines? The airlineratings winners for this year are: Virgin America (The Americas), Scoot (Asia/Pacific) , Kulala.com (Middle East/Africa), and Norwegian (Europe).
