Running Through the Fog

On Saturday March the 19th, several AISG cross-country runners from middle school and high school went to ZhuHai International School to participate in the annual cross-country race. Despite heavy fog, all the runners persevered and ran a great race along the long and challenging course. The runners showed sportsmanship and exemplified what it means to be a team as they cheered for each other and supported one another before and after the race.

The results from the race are as follows:

U12 boys — 3km race:  Edward Luo won a trophy for 3rd place

U14 Girls — 3km race: Alice Gerbztzoff won 1st, Grace Joehnk won 2nd, and Leyla Sepahi won 3rd

U14 Boys — 3km race: Rhett Joehnk won a trophy for 3rd place

Over 14 boys — 5km Race: Chris Renfrow won 1st place trophy

Over 14 Girls — 5km Race: Yan Li won 2nd place trophy and Macy O’Hara ran her first 5km race, and she got fourth place out of 15 girls, who were all much older than her

The AISG combined team won the first place trophy.
