Tired of gaming on your 13.3 or 15.4 inch MacBook? Do you want to be truly immersed in the game? If this is your case, you should consider adding the Samsung CHG90 QLED Gaming Monitor to your shopping list.

On Thursday, September 21, Samsung released a CHG90 QLED Super Widescreen Gaming Monitor. With a 31:9 display ratio and a resolution of 3840 x 1080, the 49-inch CHG90 Gaming Monitor is a sensation. The CHG90 monitor is curved, which allows the outer edges of the screen to be seen by the user’s peripheral vision. When the user is not using the monitor on full screen, the user can multitask with two full-size 1080p monitors in one monitor. For example, you could be playing your favorite game on one screen and do your homework on the other screen (This combination is not recommended). Astonishingly, there are 14 different multitasking settings as it seamlessly divides up the screen in to parts. This Samsung Gaming Monitor is currently one of the largest monitors being sold in the market.

Additionally, the CHG90 comes with incredibly advanced specs and features that excite the 1.2 billion gaming population. The CHG90 has a refresh rate of 144 hertz, which means each pixel can refresh 144 times per second. In other words, 1 pixel refreshes in 0.0069 seconds. It also features HDR10 (High Dynamic Range) for enhanced color and contrast. The monitor also features the Quantum Dot and it allows “games to appear more lifelike by delivering a billion shades of accurate colors” (Samsung Electronics). The CHG90 also features a low-reflection coating with its eye-saver mode, which ultimately reduces eye fatigue, especially for gamers who spend long periods of time staring at the screen.

Samsung’s new gaming monitor not only excels on its specs, but also excels and exceeds customers’ expectations with the external features. Unlike many of the conventional monitors, the CHG90 has a height-adjustable stand, providing more comfort to its users. In addition, the CHG90’s “audio-aligned Arena Lighting, located at the back of the monitor, adds to the thrill of gaming, getting brighter as the game’s sound grows louder, elevating moments of high intensity” (Samsung Electronics). The Arena Lighting not only intensifies the game’s volume and the thrill being experienced but also adds a sense of stylishness on to the monitor. Unfortunately, the CHG90 Gaming Monitor is quite expensive as its market price is at $1499.
