Welcome to the Back To School Playlist! Now that everyone has more or less recovered from the post-summer-vacation laziness, here’s a study playlist to further help ease you all back into the world of rigorous classes and homework. Please feel free to leave recommendations and requests by commenting down below.

  • Why I like it: The song is chill and relaxed, but also has a bouncy and fun feel to it.

2. Over The Fence

  • Artist: Rad Museum
  • If you like this, try this: Contrail (비행운) by Moonmoon
  • Why I like it: The background music of the song fits perfectly with the melody.

3. Best Part (feat. H.E.R.)

  • Artist: Daniel Caesar, H.E.R
  • If you like this, try this: Streetcar by Daniel Caesar
  • Why I like it: The two artists’ voices go together very well.

4. Can’t Love You Anymore (사랑이 잘)

  • Artist: IU, Oh Hyuk
  • If you like this, try this: TOMBOY by Hyukoh
  • Why I like it: There are parts in the song where IU and Oh Hyuk harmonize and it sounds awesome.

5. Pink + White

  • Artist: Frank Ocean
  • If you like this, try this: The Night Me and Your Mama Met by Childish Gambino
  • Why I like it: I love songs that can capture your attention right from the start, and this song drew me in completely with just the first few seconds.

6. SNOW

  • Artist: Zion.T, Lee Moon Sae
  • If you like this, try this: Yanghwa Bridge by Zion.T
  • Why I like it: The song’s melancholic melody fits the concept of “snow” perfectly.

7. Talk to Me

  • Artist: Cavetown
  • If you like this, try this: 4 O’CLOCK by RM and V
  • Why I like it: The lyrics are comforting and the instrumental part at the end of the song sounds amazing.

8. Mystery of Love

  • Artist: Sufjan Stevens
  • If you like this, try this: bellyache by Billie Eilish
  • Why I like it: I love the dreamy atmosphere of this song.

9. Teddy Bear Rises

  • Artist: OOHYO
  • If you like this, try this: Honey Tea by OOHYO
  • Why I like it: Her voice sounds super clean; when she sings, it sounds like she’s singing from right next to my ear.

10. Interlude

  • Artist: DPR LIVE
  • If you like this, try this: To Myself by DPR Live
  • Why I like it: The melody is simple but memorable and the ending leaves you hanging for more.
