A controversial but widely known moment in Mike Tyson’s career was when he bit his opponent’s ear off during a fight. He was in the heat of the moment and he ripped a piece of the ear by biting it.
He ended up retiring in 2005 at the age of 38. What he did during his retirement career is that he went to coach younger boxers to teach the skill necessary to be a great boxer.
In 2020 he announced through an Instagram post, which is where he said that he was back to fight fifteen years after announcing his retirement. He is currently 53 years old and instead of relaxing with the millions he has earned, he wants to come back to the ring.
Some people that people are speculating that he will be fighting is Evander Holyfield. He fought him twice before and he will be fighting him for the third time. Many boxing fans are excited to see this happen but unfortunately, it doesn’t look like it will be happening until next year. That doesn’t bother Mike Tyson because he is ready to fight whenever.
