Middle and High School Joint Event

• Bookmarks: 602633

On Tuesday, May 24, there was a 45-minute end of the day community schedule. In the 45 minutes at the end of the day, STUCO hosted a middle and high school joint event. Students were put into groups before the event, and during, the groups participated in a variety of activities.

These activities included bench ball, dodgeball and egg and spoon races (with a ping pong ball rather than an egg). Additionally, there were some activities involving water. For example, groups had to stand in four lines with buckets on either end. Then, a sponge will be filled with as much water as possible and passed along the line with the goal of squeezing out and filling up the other bucket with as much water as possible.

Overall, this event was a good way to get students out of the classroom and out of doors, even if it was quite hot. This was the last middle and high school joint event to occur in the 2015-2016 school year, and in general, it was a success. Below are some pictures of the event.
