Somehow, we seem to associate being outgoing with being successful—but that is a fallacious belief. Extroverts merely share their ideas more.
In addition, statistical evidence shows that extroverts earn more money, and that can may be equated to success for some people. On average, introverts make $120 an hour and extroverts make $125 an hour. That may not seem like much of a difference, but that money adds up.
Nevertheless, many personality traits that introverts have could pave their road to success. Introverts are good listeners, think before acting, have self-awareness, and so on. J.K. Rowling. Bill Gates. Abraham Lincoln. Eleanor Roosevelt. Albert Einstein. Emma Watson. Here are just the few of the highly successfully introverts.
Before making hasty generalizations, I would like to point out that regardless of the effect of being an extrovert or introvert, there is no fine line between the difference. Most people seem to be a combination of both, or an ambivert, and this seems to be the most desirable combination— a good listener as well as being open to express ideas. In fact, ambiverts make an average of $155 an hour, much more that introverts and extroverts make.
Either way, introverts, extroverts, or both introverts and extroverts can all succeed as long as they play to their strengths.
